Single parents... Have you used your children to get to know a man or a woman you llike? be honest.?

I was wondering who does it more often, men or women. Because i'm sure a single father is really atractive to women, but it's not the same with single mothers!

Single parents... Have you used your children to get to know a man or a woman you llike? be honest.?
currently married.. but i was a single mom of twins for the first en years of their lives. when i was dating i did not bring random men home, ever...... i saw other young single moms do this and saw how hard it was for the kids...only when i was getting serious with someone, and i mean at least 4-6 months, did i introduce them.... there were no mommy sleepovers however... when i met my husband tho, i introduced him to my mother, sister, and kids. on the second day... i think i knew something was different... we got engaged one week later. and married one year after that.... we now have a 2yr old as well.... and about seeing single fathers??? well i think women are attracted to them because deep down we all want a mate who will not only be a good sperm doner but be a good father and help care for the kids for the long haul......
Reply:who knew my crazy life could help others!!! lol....... Report It

Reply:Well I don't know if I agree with you. I am single and childless. I will not date men who have children. If I am not mommy to my own kids, I definitely don't want to be mommy to some other woman's.
Reply:Some girls that know that I like kids have used them to get to know me, so it´s more common that what you think...

By the way, why don´t you connect any more, don´t you miss me?
Reply:Never.I find that to be very tacky.
Reply:Never.

And it would take quite a while for me to even allow him to meet my children let alone get to know them.

Of course it's easier for men. There is much more stigma attached being a single mom as opposed to being a single dad.
Reply:yes- i liked my sons barber so I would take him every two weeks to get a haircut just to have an excuse to talk to him or get his attention. Sad huh?
Reply:I think kids would be a hinderance to meeting someone (no offense) unless the person also had kids themselves.

I'm not one for an "instant family".
