All you single ladies out there...I personally dont have a problem with being single...?

It's other people that constantly pass remarks and say things like 'you will meet someone one of these days' !!! I am single by choice, I am very fussy when it comes to men and I would rather be on my own that with a guy for the sake of having a boyfriend. Why is it not socially acceptable to be single these days? This is certainly the case in Ireland anyway...and my few single girlfriends feel the same way.

Anyone know any good 'Sex and the city' type books/dvd's to give me a good giggle??

Some people just don't understand you want to be single and its by choice, what can i say men just let we woman down!

We are independent and we don't need a man.....by the way you should listen this song by the pussycatdolls I DON'T NEED A MAN....lol....don't let society bring you down
Reply:I agree, I am quite particular about men, and refuse to go out with a guy just to "have someone." I would prefer to be in a relationship, but not when that man isn't worth it.

I can understand why people would prefer to be in relationships, because we are social creatures who tend to pair off. Since you have not paired off, it's thought that there may be something wrong with you to make you unacceptable to others, when just the opposite is true, you find others to be unacceptable.

I wish I knew some good books/dvd's to help, but I do not. Really, if the reason you're single is because you want to wait for the perfect person, any romantic comedy should do. Usually they start off as single, but end up with their perfect person. My Prince %26amp; Me doesn't end as you may typically imagine, so that may be a good one; unless you get My Prince %26amp; Me 2.
Reply:I feel much like you do. I certainly enjoy being by myself rather than with someone just for the sake of not being alone. Yes, it's lonely sometimes but, the benefits of only having to take care of Me definately outweigh the lonely times. But to answer your question, no I don't know of any books to read. Wish I knew more people like you though to bounce stuff off of.
