Being single is the best lifestyle you can live?

I think being single is the best way to live your life right now in this sinful world, especially if you are serious about doing the work of God. Paul said in 1 Cor 7 that there are liberties you have when you are single. I've never been hooked up and I plan to keep it that way till the Second Coming of Christ. You normally have more money for the work of God and for yourself. You can take care of your family like your mom and dad without having to worry about a spouse and you come home to a clean empty house everynight. Frankly i've seen the stress my relatives have had with their female spouses. As a male i rather stay single. I think the singlehood is the bestway to go, do you agree?

i'v been single for years, im a good looking guy with confidence and ideas, but i dont wish to be with anyone, i work alone and have friends, i love myself and feel excited about the future
Reply:i agree with "JD" 100%...and you are 100% right abt Paul in the book of Cor. you are sooo right. but also it said in the Bilbe that God saw Adam was alone so he cause him to to fall into a deep sleep and made him a helper and her name was Eve.
Reply:God said in Genesis that was not good for man to be alone that is why He created Adam and then Eve. If you rather to be single I think is up to you. Personally I would like God to let me find a good woman or be found by a good Godly woman to marry her. Depends what God called you to be.
Reply:What Paul is saying is sometimes a spouse takes so much of your time that it takes away the time you have for GOD.He said i would rather you be as I.He was single however by choice.It is not wrong to want a spouse.Butch

Reply:It depends on where your at in your life. For some they need someone to share their wealth or their ideas with.For those who are just entering the begining of their adult lives maybe they don't.
Reply:i think there is a good and bad side to everything...the positives you have listed are certainly very true for the single life, but don't forget that marriage is sacred too and God looks very fondly upon those who sacrifice their liberties to provide for a beautiful family...of course marriage has its ups and downs as well...i suppose there is a time for everthing
