Happily Single?

I'm 40 and I have an 11yr old daughter, her Dad didn't want anything to do with her so I've raised her by myself. I am happily single but I sometimes feel like a bit of a freak because it appears to me that being in a relationship is the most important thing in the world to a lot of people.





So I was wondering if there are any other Singles out there who are HAPPY being in their own company and enjoy the single live.

personally i think that it is sad that today's society is always fascinated with relationships. i think that you can do one out of two things in this situation (or both)


-you can always try to find people to start a relationship with


-or you could devote most of your love and attention to your 11yr old





my mom is single and she had to raise me and my sister (we're twins) by herself, she is currently in her mid-thirties, and i often see her looking for a lover. just know that your completely normal and their is nothing wrong with you. just know that certain things are destined to be no matter how pleasant or unpleasant they may be. :)
