Is society biased against single people?

It seems like society tells us that to be single means you are failing in some way. ie: singles are portrayed as workaholics, abusers, social outcasts or misfits, unhappy, etc... In other words, they must have a problem, that is why they are single. Is being single really a sign of weakness in some way? What do you think?

yeh society does make it seem that way but who eva has been single (everyone) knows that it's not true
Reply:Yes and no, because some people are single cause they wanna be and others are single cause they can't get a man/woman. So I really can't say that well. hmmmmm good question.
Reply:Some of society is biased and some not so much, people will always be judgemental and biased; it's only human as they would say..


Being single is a choice and sometmes not a choice....I personaly don't have a choice at this time in my life as I'm sure others don't aslo...


it has it's pros and cons, advantages and some disadvantages..

The greatest man who ever lived on this Earth was a single man and had no home to boot.

Reply:I personally think being single is just being afraid of commitment and dissappiontment and many people choose to be single eventhough they have had many chances to get with someone





Although i think that your right and society is biased i dont think its bad to be single its less disappointment in your life





If you are single just have fun put yourself out there and live life to the fullest be happy with who you are and dnt pay attention to others

Reply:That is stupid. Being single happens to everybody at some point, unless you were married at birth. ? But if you have just broken up with your bf/gf because they beat you up and are therefore single, does that mean you are an unhappy misfit? or just somebpdy who happens to be single?
