Who is best single vs married ? why people prefer to live single ?
Having had the unique pleasure of a series of relationships of all kinds and durations, from a few hours to a few years and now marriage for nearly 20 years I must say that my happiest and my most miserable where while married but my loneliest was while single and I would take miserable with company over lonely alone any time.


Beyond that married people live longer and are generally healthier...





Marriage, when it works, affords its participants some unique benefits. To have someone whom you put ahead of all else and children to send forth into the world is a feeling that I find surprising and wonderful. It isn't happiness so much as it is sense. Doing these thing doesn't mean that I have settled for a life more ordinary, teaching your children to think for themselves is something that there is no book for and seeing my boys, so bright and so different in their approach to the world I am awed by their intelligence and humanity and I know they will leave the world a better place than they found it. So I would vote for married, I guess.

Reply:having done both I prefer married...with the right person there is so much to gain...comfort ,ideas,growth in mind...laughter,someone to share your heartfelt desires, your interests with....it is all in the picking of the right spouse
Reply:Co-habitation if the best idea for me. Marriage changes everyone and anything it touched. Not for the better in most cases.
Reply:I think I'd prefer to stay single or at least date but not get married. Sometimes its hard to even have a relationship because there will always be that one person or maybe even more than one, that will ruin it all for you. Being single to me means not having to depend on anyone, and being able to get out and enjoy some things that you might not be able to enjoy while your married. After all the fights and break ups I've seen I think its just safe for now to stay single for a while until I'm actually read to commit to marriage.
Reply:There is no best single verses married. There are probably many reasons why some people remain (not necessarily prefer) single.It is just the way things are.(The way marriage is going these days with divorce and separation i think you are better off single!!!)
