well in not really single technically speaking...its just that, my bf is in the other part of the world..yes,im in a long distance relationship..and in our group of friends, im the only one who is single... we're sure to have a group date this valentines day... but they're all gonna have partners except me... should i go?if not, what could be a nice excuse?

Just ask a good friend to come along with you. The friendship you have with that person might inspire your friends to develop their relationships to a new level or in new ways to ensure their happiness.
Reply:I'm sure you can enjoy yourself out with close friends even though your date won't be with you, but no excuses are necessary if you choose not to participate. I'm sure your friends will include you and make you feel comfortable but if you decide not to go just tell them that Valentine's Day is a date night and you've made other plans. Tell them to enjoy themselves and you'll get together the following weekend or whenever. If you try to make up some lame excuse they'll see right through and try to talk you into going. You don't want a pity party so just be upfront and matter-of-fact about it.
