For the single people.....?

How long have you been single for and why?





Ive been single for about 4 years now....and its because I like to be dependant on myself...Ive had my share of dates in between, but no one that I could see myself becoming serious with...I like bieng single.....and people say love comes at the most unexpected moment....so I dont go out looking for it....hopefully one day it will find me.

For the single people.....?
divorced 15 years,kind of lost trust in people after being burned in my marriage,had plenty of relationships but always ran when they got serious. Let my guard down last year and fell in love again,but again I picked one that was pretty to look at but very very dishonest,but it did make me realize how good love feels,so I'm not giving up and not gonna crawl back into that lonesome shell again,keeping my eyes open for the person that is meant for me.


And I'm shore it will find you again to, just don't run from it when you think you might have found it.
Reply:ive been single for 5 years or so and let me give you a word of advice pick the person you are gonna propose to very carefully i didnt and it hurt pretty bad. but i know that someday ill actually like someone enought to start something serious.
Reply:For 24 years straight. I am 24. the reason is because I have a hard time meeting women and I am very shy.

Reply:ive been single for about 7 months, this is the first time since age 13 that i haven't dated someone in that long of time. i broke up with my boy because he was still in love with his best friend and well....he didn't treat me right. anyway, i love it because i can finally focus on my schoolwork and not why he didn't call.
Reply:Try 9 years. It hasn't been an easy journey. I was engaged for 1 1/2 years and it was broken off due to HIS ex stepping in and causing some serious problems.

Reply:haha...you girls going to be alone forever, until you buckle down and settle for some guy you don't feel so good about. Then you will torture him to make up for the fact that he is so lucky to have you when you don't really want him.

Reply:22 years. That's how old I am. I've never had a boyfriend, but it has always been my choice regretfully. The only guys who seem to talk to me and ask me out are the kind of guys that are up to no good. It is frustrating for me sometimes because I just to be able to do something for that one person I love and see him smile. People tell me that I have to wait for the good ones. Guys my age aren't looking for a serious relationship. Waiting is so hard. I hope I find that someone soon, if not, I'm going to explode. I guess patience is the key.

Reply:I'm in the same situation. Lots of dates, but no one who seemed worth investing in. I've been single for one year now, and it's hard sometimes- but not as hard as it would be to be involved with an unworthy dude.
Reply:DANG.. it looks like we are on the same boat. every time i develop an interest for some girl i ask them out for a few dates, but then I kinda loose the interest. this is been going on for a while. also like you i feel like im better off single, not having to worry about someone elses drama. I always thought i was one of a kind. looks like I was wrong...
Reply:I'm 24, and I have never had a boyfriend because I want to make sure that my first will be my first and last. I know God is preparing someone for me, and that He is also preparing me for "him".. I am aware that, right now, I'm not yet ready to commit into a relationship coz I'm working on something which is very important for me (which I think I won't be able to do if I have a boyfriend)..





So, when both of us are ready.. then I believe that's the time that our paths would meet.. I trust God with all my heart that this will happen in His time.. (^_^)

Reply:I'm single too. And not looking. Not looking since high school. I'm 22 now. Fun dates but nothing serious. Group dates that is. I like being by myself and enjoy doing things I find interesting without worrying if my bf will like them too. **** that. I don't think I'll ever get married and I don't want kids. There are too many people in this world as it is. People think that just because they are able have babies that they are obligated to have one. Not true, girls. Not true. And it's selfish to want one just so u wont be alone in life. Those are other issues you have to deal with first.

Reply:I'm not afraid to admit it. I've never been in a serious relationship, and I'm 24 too. Most of the girls I ask out seem to have their own agenda, and aren't looking for relationships either. Being single isn't that bad, hangin out with friends, just doing your own thing. The key is not to overlook the unexpected, if it's right you won't feel locked down.

Reply:I'm still only 19, but I have been single my whole life (excluding when I was married in kindergarden lol). I've tried the whole wait for it to come to you at the unexpected moments, and it never worked. My prob is I like the one guy that I've been friends with my whole life, so everytime I look foror describe a guy that I'd be interested in, I always end up describing him. In the end though, there's really no hurry, especially if you're still school takin classes. I know I don't intend to get into a real serious realtionship and married until I'm at east done with my Masters degree. When if happens, it does... regardless if your 'looking' or not.

I was married for 8yrs and now divorsed because my wife was sleeping with my best friend.They are married and have a child now.I have dated a rich mans daughter and we had a wonderful and happy time until she broke up with me because of running a business,but she was married a month later.Now been single for 4 yrs also,still not sure of giving someone my all.And much like you I enjoy doing whatever I want whenever I want.Im going to enjoy life and see if the truth to (there is someone out there for everyone is true) I guess we will see...... best wishes
